Modern Warfare 2 Releases October 28!!!

Here’s the latest information on whats to come

Sheesh!! Now this is something that we've all been waiting on. Activision recently released a tiny teaser of this year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. According to a new teaser video that shows off artwork of the game’s principal cast, including Modern Warfare favorite Simon “Ghost” Riley, Modern Warfare 2 will be releasing on Oct. 28.

The teaser is a drone-captured look at real-world artwork featuring operators Captain John Price, Ghost, John “Soap” MacTavish, Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, and newcomer Colonel Alejandro Vargas of the Mexican Special Forces. There’s no gameplay shown in the teaser.

Check out the teaser trailer below:

Leaked information

According to reliable Call of Duty Leaker, Tom Henderson, there will be 3 different editions for Modern Warfare 2. The standard edition and Cross-Gen Bundle, both of which come with the game (Cross-Gen with both One and Series X|S versions), early access to an open beta, and "other items" that are yet to be announced.

There is said to be a Vault Edition, which comes with early access to the open beta, a Season 1 Battle Pass with 50 Tier Skips, Red Team Operator Pack (includes Operators Ghost, Soap, Price, and Farah), FJX Cinder Weapon Vault, ten hours of 2XP and 2WXP, and the Ghost Legacy Pack, which includes 12 Operator Skins and ten Weapon Blueprints

The leak mentions that PS4 and PS5 users will get access to the open beta first, which has been par for the course for other recent Call of Duty releases. If Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard goes through, this will likely be the last time we see PlayStation users get early access to Call of Duty betas.

As the information above are all leaks it would be best to take this information with a grain of salt.

Our excitement behind just the teaser of this game is through the roof. Now that we have next-gen consoles we can really look forward to the in-game graphics, and realism through screen. Call of Duty may have the world hooked on this one and it may be finally time for me to invest in a Playstation 5.
