The popular racing game is leaving the PS4 & Xbox One behind!
If you were looking to play the latest Need for Speed on last-gen consoles then you may be out of luck. According to VentureBeat reporter Jeff Grubb, the next NFS will be on PS5, not PS4. The game will be developed by Criterion Games, with wanting to focus on new technology the studio has done away with last-gen versions.
Criterion Games is as of now chipping away at a cutting edge NFS title, a scrap of which we saw during EA Play 2020. It contains heaps of placeholder components from Need for Speed Heat, shut out structures and calculation, and in-progress impacts. To the extent that the taking care of goes, it looks more on the arcadey side, which follows Criterion's set of experiences. Whenever you see it moving, it's difficult to envision this is some kind of phony.
We've been awaiting for a new racing game to come out. The racing game community has been looking for something similar to Midnight Club, a staple in the gaming community. Maybe rockstar games may bring it back, but NFS has always lived up to the hype. Tune in this November for the drop!
